About Me
Hey, I’m Michael, a sound designer for games who obsesses over visceral, player-centric audio. At Riot Games, I design and implement immersive soundscapes for League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra and Teamfight Tactics while also building interactive tech that either bring new fresh new features to players, or improve the pipeline workflows of our internal team (Python, Lua, WAAPI, ReaScript, Proprietary scripting engine). I take pride in balancing creative & technical work, and switching between the two keeps me sharp and energized.
Before Riot, I worked at Scopely on Marvel Strike Force, where I learned the ins and outs of developing audio for live-service games and honed my sound design craft.
Outside of work, I give back to the community by sharing sound design videos on YouTube and publishing workflow scripts and tools on GitHub.
I also love to recharge outdoors - whether it’s a good hike, a friendly game of pickup hoops, or swimming laps as the sun sets!
